Biography
Jason Patchett is a Republican member of the Nevada Assembly representing District 19. He was appointed in 2025 to replace Toby Yurek and serves until the 2026 election. A Henderson resident described as a moderate Republican, Patchett is the father of Rex Patchett, who was killed by a reckless driver in 2022; this tragedy inspired "Rex's Law," which Patchett helped introduce and which was signed into law by Gov. Joe Lombardo in 2023 to increase penalties for reckless driving.
