Biography
Representative Jason Blair
Jason Blair is a Republican representative serving Oklahoma House District 53, which encompasses Cleveland County and includes the cities of Moore, Norman, and Oklahoma City. He resides in Moore with his wife, Lori, and their three daughters. The Blairs are active members of Southern Hills Baptist Church.
Blair grew up working in his family's vending machine business and has deep roots in the Moore community. He is a member of the Moore Chamber of Commerce and Rotary International, where he led the annual Christmas gift drive. He previously served on Earlywine Park's YMCA Council and was a founding board member of the Honor Flight Initiative of Oklahoma, which transports World War II veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit war memorials and participate in ceremonies.
Education and Business Background
Blair holds a degree in Corporate Communications. After graduating, he began his career in the insurance industry and currently operates a commercial insurance business, where he works to support local job creators in the community.
Political Experience
Blair was elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives for the 60th Legislature. The Speaker of the House appointed him to serve on the County and Municipal Government Committee, Utilities Committee, and Administrative Rules Committee. He was also appointed as vice chair to the Appropriations and Budget Transportation Subcommittee.
His legislative priorities include creating jobs through pro-business policies, protecting Second Amendment rights, supporting schools and teachers, defending life, ensuring public safety, protecting senior citizens, and limiting taxes and welfare dependency.
