Biography
Jarrett K. Keohokalole is a Democratic member of the Hawaiʻi State Senate, representing District 24 . Born August 7, 1983, he is a seventh-generation resident of Kāneʻohe. A devoted father of three, he has served in the legislature since 2014, first in the House and then the Senate . Notable positions include Assistant Majority Whip, Chair of the Commerce and Consumer Protection Committee , member of the Hawaiian Affairs and Transportation, Culture, and the Arts Committees, and Co-Chair of the Senate Native Hawaiian Caucus. Past leadership roles: Majority Floor Leader and Majority Policy Leader in the House .
Education and Political Experience
- Education: B.A. from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa; J.D. from the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaiʻi .
- Early Career: Legal fellow at the Department of Land & Natural Resources; campaign experience with Progressive Change Campaign Committee.
