Ronald "Jaron" Crane is a Republican member of the Idaho House of Representatives representing District 12B. A third-generation Idahoan born and raised in Nampa, he is the youngest of six children of retired State Treasurer Ron G. Crane and Cheryl A. Crane. His brother, Brent Crane, also serves in the Idaho House. Jaron married his high school sweetheart, Clarissa, in 2011; they have three children: Heavenly Joy, Jadon Lee, and Ronald Drew. He is a fervent Christian and Constitutional Conservative, with his priorities centered on faith, family, and freedom. Crane assumed office on December 1, 2022, succeeding Rick Youngblood. Notable positions include vice president of Crane Alarm Service and co-founder/co-owner of American Fire Protection with his brother.

Education and Political Experience

• Education: Attended Nampa Christian Schools and Hobe Sound Bible College; Associate's degree in Business Management from Ohio Christian University ; Bachelor's degree in Political Science with emphasis in Public Policy from Boise State University .
• Military Service: Served in the Idaho Army National Guard .
• Professional Experience: Worked full-time at family-owned Crane Alarm Service since 2014; became co-owner of American Fire Protection in 2020.
• Political Experience: Elected to Idaho House of Representatives for District 12B in November 2022; serves on the House Business Committee.
