Jarett Gandolfo is an American politician and Republican Assembly Member representing New York State Assembly District 7, which includes parts of Suffolk County such as Bay Shore, Brightwaters, Islip, East Islip, Islip Terrace, Great River, Oakdale, Bohemia, West Sayville, Sayville, Bayport, Blue Point, Patchogue, Fire Island, and East Patchogue. Elected on November 3, 2020, he assumed office on January 1, 2021, after defeating Democratic nominee Francis T. Genco. Prior to his election, he served as chief of staff to former Assemblyman Andrew Garbarino. A resident of Sayville with his wife, Natalia, a local attorney, Gandolfo has been appointed Assistant Minority Leader Pro Tempore in the NYS Assembly Minority Conference. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Islip Community Development Agency and committees including Health, Higher Education, Insurance, Mental Health, and Racing and Wagering.

Advocates for repealing bail reform , supporting law enforcement, strengthening the local economy, business aid, environmental protections , and homeowner protections against squatters. Delivered local funding for projects like a student mental health center, elementary school playground, crosswalk upgrades in Sayville, library funding, and infrastructure such as fixing the Oakdale Merge and expanding sewer access. Supported homeowner tax rebates, middle-class tax cuts, and opposed high-density zoning overrides. Backed IBEW Local 1049 workers and announced scholarships like NYIACSL and Italian-American Conference opportunities for local students.
