Jared Storm, a Republican, has been serving as the Nebraska State Senator for District 23 since January 8, 2025. Born and raised in rural Kansas, he developed a strong work ethic early on, influenced by his father's example. At 18, he earned his pilot's license and later pursued higher education on a track and field scholarship. In 1997, Storm relocated to Wahoo, Nebraska, to embark on a career in agricultural aviation. He is married to Colleen, and together they have six children: Hannah, Matthew, Luke, Sarah, Elizabeth, and Jacob.
