Jared Solomon is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 18 in Montgomery County. First elected in 2018, he has served since January 9, 2019, and currently holds the position of Deputy Speaker Pro Tem . A former teacher and policy advisor, he focuses on education funding, public transit expansion, labor rights, environmental protection, and family support, with notable achievements including passing police transparency laws, historic school investments, expanded childcare access, and the Maryland Kids Code for online youth safety.
