Biography

Jared Lynn Patterson is a Republican member of the Texas House of Representatives serving District 106, which covers north central and eastern Denton County, including parts of Frisco. From a blue-collar home in rural Texas, he found purpose after 9/11 and dedicated his life to service; his family moved to Frisco in 2015. Professionally, he serves as Director of Energy Services at Rapid Power Management, a retail electric brokerage firm in Carrollton. He resides in Frisco with his family and is a member of Frisco First Baptist Church. Elected in 2018 after winning the Republican primary with 54% and the general election with 58.3%, he is now in his fourth term and is recognized as one of the most conservative legislators in Texas, often ranking in the top 10 by voting record and the most right-wing among House Republicans in 2023.

Notable achievements and positions: Patterson champions fiscal responsibility, individual liberty, life, border security, property tax relief, first responders, and protecting children from explicit materials.
