Biography of Senator Jared Olsen
Jared Olsen is a Republican representing Wyoming State Senate District 8. He is a lawyer, small business owner, and native of Wyoming who emphasizes community involvement and constituent service.
Olsen is a husband and father who values Wyoming's principles of independence, responsibility, honesty, and hard work. He describes himself as an average citizen representative of his community. Before his senate career, he served as Chairman of the Laramie County Republican Party from 2014 to 2016.
Political Experience
Olsen was first elected to the Wyoming State Legislature in 2016, initially representing House District 11. His legislative career includes several significant roles:
