Biography
Janne Myrdal is a Republican state senator representing District 19 in the North Dakota Senate, serving since 2017. A native of Norway and U.S. citizen, she grew up in a family affected by Nazi occupation during World War II, instilling a strong commitment to protecting freedoms. She works as a homemaker and farmer, is married to Mark with three children, and resides in Edinburg. Myrdal holds notable positions including Chair of the ND Legislative Pro Life Caucus, member of the ND Rural Caucus, board member of ND DE Social Services and Concerned Women for America, and involvement in ALEC Rural Caucus and Ag Taskforce.
