Biography
Janet Yang Rohr is a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 41st District, which includes Naperville, Bolingbrook, and Warrenville. She began her first term in January 2021 and is currently serving her third term in the 104th General Assembly. A mother of three, married to Dan, and granddaughter of refugees and daughter of immigrants, she emphasizes grassroots organizing, public education, economic opportunity, and protecting rights. Notable achievements include serving on the Naperville CUSD 203 School Board , where she reduced property taxes and debt by millions while expanding early childhood programs; professional roles at Morningstar , Northern Trust, and Aon; and committee assignments such as Appropriations-Elementary & Secondary Education, Insurance, School Curriculum Policies, and Veterans' Affairs.
