Janeen Connolly is a Democratic Representative serving Arizona's Legislative District 8 in the House of Representatives, elected for the 2025–2026 term. A 42-year resident of Tempe, she is a first-time candidate and legislator who previously worked 27 years at the Salt River Project as a government relations representative and community advocate. As a single mom, she raised four daughters. Her key priorities include K-12 education, women’s health care, affordable housing, and water issues. District 8 covers parts of South and Central Scottsdale, North and Central Tempe, a sliver of West Mesa, parts of Phoenix, and the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.
