Representative Jane Bloomingdale

Jane Bloomingdale is a Republican state representative representing District 60 in the Iowa House of Representatives. She is the owner of Bloomingdale Tax and Accounting and has built her career in business and public service in Iowa.

Education

Bloomingdale graduated from Northwood-Kensett High School and earned a B.A.S. degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

Political Experience

Bloomingdale's civic engagement includes involvement with Moms for Liberty in Warren County, where she has advocated for parental rights at all levels of government. She served as a Carlisle School Board Member from 2019 to 2021 and has been active in grassroots advocacy, including work as an ambassador for School Choice in 2023. Additionally, she is a member of the Warren County Central Committee, Capitol Region Republican Women, Iowa Federation of Republican Women, and the National Federation of Republican Women. Bloomingdale has also supported nonprofit organizations focused on protecting the unborn.
