Jamie Wall is a Democratic member of the Wisconsin State Senate, representing District 30. He assumed office on January 6, 2025, with his current term ending January 3, 2029. Born in September 1971 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, he was raised on his family's small dairy farm in the rural town of Holland in southern Brown County. Wall graduated as valedictorian from Wrightstown High School in 1989. He is the first in his family to attend college and was the first University of Wisconsin student in a generation to win a Rhodes Scholarship for studies in political science and history at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. After college, he co-founded a consulting firm in Green Bay in 2002, specializing in strategic planning and economic development. He previously led Wisconsin's Division of Economic Development under Governor Jim Doyle, helping establish the New North organization to promote business growth in Northeast Wisconsin. Wall is active in his community, having served as vice president of the Green Bay Water Commission, treasurer of his local neighborhood association, and a former board member of the Wisconsin 4-H Foundation and Clean Wisconsin Action Fund. Notable positions include membership on the Governor's Council on Workforce Investment, Wisconsin Council on Forestry, and Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. He ran unsuccessfully for the U.S. House in 2006 and 2012.
