Biography
Jamie Ray Gragg is a Republican member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 140 . Elected in November 2022, this is his first term in office. A businessman, he owns and operates "Ozark Mountain Tops and Art Works," a woodworking business, and has experience in camping ministries and entertaining in Branson. His family has resided in Christian County for over 10 generations, and he has one daughter, three sons, one granddaughter, and two grandsons. Gragg opposes abortion, supports tax cuts and reduced regulation, privatization of childcare, and removing state bureaucracy to increase teacher pay; in 2024, he introduced a bill to criminalize teachers supporting transgender youth as Tier 1 sex offenders.
Education and Political Experience
Gragg graduated from Ozark Public Schools and Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. He serves on the committees for Children and Families, Elementary and Secondary Education, Healthcare Reform, and Subcommittee on Appropriations-Education. His office is located at Room 412-A, 201 W.
