Biography

Jami Cate is a Republican politician and fifth-generation farmer serving as the state representative for Oregon House District 11, which includes rural communities in Linn County and parts of Marion County. Born around 1986 or 1987, she is a lifelong resident of Lebanon and has been a strong advocate for agriculture, rural businesses, wildfire recovery, and timber issues. First elected in 2020 to represent District 17, she assumed office in January 2021 and, after redistricting in 2022, won re-election in District 11; in July 2025, she announced her candidacy for Oregon Senate District 6 in the 2026 election.
