James Thibault is a Republican member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Merrimack County District 25. Born on December 27, 2005, in Laconia, New Hampshire, he is a lifelong resident of the area, currently living in Franklin, and serves as one of the youngest state representatives at age 20. Prior to his election, he chaired the New Hampshire Legislative Youth Advisory Council , advocating for policies on parental rights, student protections, freedom of speech, and religious freedom, and represented New Hampshire at the American Legion Boys Nation and United States Senate Youth Program.

Education and Political Experience

• Education: Recent graduate of Winnisquam Regional High School; current sophomore at Saint Anselm College.
• Political Experience: Elected to the NH House of Representatives for Merrimack 25 ; Chairman, NH Legislative Youth Advisory Council . He has testified on legislation, drafted bills, and emphasized civics education in schools.
