Biography
James P. Eaton is a Republican serving his first term as Arkansas State Representative for District 26, which covers portions of Carroll, Madison, and Franklin counties. Elected in 2024, he began his term on January 12, 2025, and serves in the 95th General Assembly as an insurance agent and farmer affiliated with the Church of Christ. He previously served on the Madison County Quorum Court and currently sits on the House Revenue and Taxation Committee and the House Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Military Affairs Committee.
Education and Political Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in education from Arkansas Tech University; master's degree in Health Education from the University of Central Arkansas.
- Political Experience: First term in the Arkansas House of Representatives ; prior service on the Madison County Quorum Court.
