Jake Sawyer

Jake Sawyer is an American politician serving as a Republican member of the Utah House of Representatives for District 9, a position he has held since January 1, 2025. His district encompasses portions of central Ogden, northern Roy, and the city of West Haven, all located in Weber County. Sawyer is a lifelong resident of Weber County and is married to Abbey. By profession, he works in real estate.

Sawyer was elected to the Utah House of Representatives in the 2024 general election, securing victory with 9,497 votes in District 9. His opponents in that race were Democratic candidate Angela Choberka, who received 5,996 votes , and Libertarian candidate Jacob Johnson, who received 799 votes .
