Biography
Jake Blumencranz is a Republican/Conservative Assembly Member representing New York State Assembly District 15, which includes portions of the towns of Hempstead and Oyster Bay in Nassau County on Long Island. He was elected on November 8, 2022, succeeding Michael Montesano, who resigned to become a district court judge. As a Gen Z lawmaker, he focuses on making Long Island safer and more affordable for families, seniors, and young people.
Education and Political Experience
- Education: Graduated from Jericho Senior High School; B.A. in Public Policy Analysis and B.A. in Religious Studies from Rice University; M.Sc. in Regional Urban Planning and Development from the London School of Economics.
