Jacob Jules Gabriel Landry
Jacob Jules Gabriel Landry is an American politician serving as a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives from the 49th district. A member of the Republican Party, Landry has been in office since January 8, 2024, following his election victory on October 14, 2023, where he secured 64% of the vote.
Landry is a successful businessman and co-owner of Industrial and Oilfield Services and Enviro-Resources, companies that provide environmentally friendly solutions for the oil and gas industry. He is married with two children, Jack and Jules, who attend Erath public schools. The family is active in their community and members of Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church.
His district encompasses Iberia, Lafayette, and Vermilion parishes. His office is located at 106 E Edwards Street in Erath, Louisiana.
Education
Landry attended Erath High School and went on to pursue higher education at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and the University of Southwestern Louisiana.
Political Experience
Since taking office in 2024, Landry serves on several committees and boards:

His primary policy priorities include coastal restoration, economic development, and improving infrastructure. He is also a member of the Knights of Columbus and serves on the Acadiana Delegation and Louisiana Rural Caucus. Under current Louisiana law, he is eligible to serve through the 2032 term.
