Biography
Jackson Doshin Sayama is a Democratic state representative for Hawaii's 21st House District, which includes St. Louis Heights, Pālolo Valley, Maunalani Heights, Wilhelmina Rise, and Kaimukī. Elected in 2020 at age 23 after longtime incumbent Calvin Say retired, he defeated Republican Julia Allen with 74.6% of the vote and became the second-youngest member of the Hawaii House of Representatives, following Tulsi Gabbard. Born and raised in St. Louis Heights, Sayama previously served on his neighborhood board and focuses on supporting local families, schools, businesses, safety, and recovery efforts.
