Jack Gideon McFarland is a Republican member of the Louisiana House of Representatives, representing District 13, which includes Bienville, Jackson, Natchitoches, and Winn parishes in north Louisiana. Born on November 18, 1969, he resides in Winnfield, Louisiana, and serves as president of McFarland Timber, Inc. He assumed office on January 11, 2016, succeeding James R. Fannin after winning the 2015 election with 60.3% of the vote.

Education and Political Experience

• Education: Graduated from Winnfield Senior High School; B.S. in Business Administration/Industrial Management from the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
