Jack Kolbeck is a Republican member of the South Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 13 . Born in McCook County, South Dakota, he assumed office in the House on February 5, 2025, after being appointed to fill a vacancy left by Tony Venhuizen, who became Lieutenant Governor; his current term ends January 12, 2027. Previously, he served in the South Dakota Senate for the same district from 2017 to 2024, where he was Majority Whip , served on the Appropriations and Military and Veterans’ Affairs Committees, and focused on economic development, veterans’ affairs, and community well-being. He works as Key Accounts Manager for Beal Distributing in the malt beverage industry since 2002 and lives in Sioux Falls with his wife Muriel and three children.
