J.M. Lozano is a Republican State Representative for Texas House District 43, which includes Bee, Calhoun, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Refugio, and San Patricio Counties . Raised in Premont, Texas, as the son of a medical doctor with five sisters, he is a small business owner with his wife Abby and father of three children: Penny, Pepito, and Carlitos. First elected in 2011, he has been recognized for leadership on jobs training, youth protection, border security, support for troops, substance abuse treatment, mental health resources, and student achievement.
