Representative J.J. Grow

J.J. Grow is a Republican member of the Florida House of Representatives representing District 23 , elected in 2024 with 74% of the vote after a prior unsuccessful run in 2022.

J.J. Grow, born July 25, 1968, in Inverness, Florida, is an agribusiness entrepreneur and conservative Republican. He founded his first company in 2003, creating jobs across Florida and the U.S., with 30 years of leadership in private and public companies. A longtime community volunteer, philanthropist, pro-life advocate, and Second Amendment supporter, he resides in Inverness with his wife Jen and has four daughters and three grandchildren . Notable early involvement includes leadership in Future Farmers of America , serving as Citrus High School FFA President, State FFA Vice President, and interning with Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Doyle Connor.

Education and Political Experience

• Education: Attended Inverness Primary School, Inverness Middle School, and Citrus High School, where he was Class President, Student Government President, and excelled in sports. Earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Florida in 1992.
• Political Experience: Ran for Florida House District 23 in 2022 but withdrew to endorse Ralph Massullo. Successfully elected in 2024, defeating Democrat Judith Vowels; sworn in November 19, 2024. Serves through 2032; Christian affiliation.
