Biography
Isaac Schultz is a Republican member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, representing District 10B in central Minnesota, which includes cities like Milaca and Foley, and parts of Benton, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, and Morrison Counties. Born on March 11, 1991, he grew up on a family farm near Upsala, Minnesota, and works as an auctioneer. He is married and has served since 2023 after being elected in 2022 to an open seat following redistricting and the retirement of incumbent Sondra Erickson. Notable positions include Deputy Speaker Pro Tempore, assistant minority leader of the House Republican Caucus, and co-vice chair of the Rules and Legislative Administration Committee; he also serves on committees for Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy, Labor and Industry Finance and Policy , Sustainable Infrastructure, and Fraud Prevention and State Agency Oversight Policy. Previously, he was District Director for Congressman Pete Stauber since 2018 and a legislative assistant to former Speaker Kurt Daudt from 2014 to 2019.
