Biography

Hildy Angius is a Republican Arizona State Senator representing District 30. Born in New York, she considers Arizona her adopted home state and resides in Bullhead City with her chihuahua, Missy. Angius has a background in marketing and communications and started her own small business, an arts and crafts studio, in 2002, which she sold before moving to Bullhead City in 2005. She hosts a one-hour radio talk show, “Live and Local in the Afternoon with Hildy Angius,” covering local events, county, city, and state politics. Notable achievements include successfully challenging federal, state agencies, and the legislature to overturn harmful policies for Mohave County and rural Arizona, while improving county government administration without raising taxes. She has been deeply involved in Republican politics, serving three terms as Vice-Chair of the Mohave County Republican Central Committee.
