Biography
Henry Stone is a Republican state representative for Iowa House District 9, hailing from Forest City, Iowa. First elected in 2020 and currently serving his second term, he holds the position of House Majority Whip. A U.S. Air Force veteran , he was born in 1971 in Kyong-Gi Do, South Korea, and resides in Forest City with his wife Pennie, one daughter, three sons, and five grandchildren. Notable achievements include multiple overseas deployments , military awards such as two Meritorious Service Medals, three Commendation Medals, and one Achievement Medal, as well as prior service as a high school and college football coach. He serves on key committees including Administration and Rules, Appropriations, Education, Ethics, Higher Education, Judiciary, and the Federal and Other Funds Appropriations Subcommittee.

- A.A. in applied science from the Community College of the Air Force.
- B.S. in business management from the University of Phoenix.
- M.A. in education and administration from Trident University, Cypress, California.
- Graduated from Air Force enlisted academies: Airmen Leadership School, Non-Commissioned Officer Academy, and Senior Non-Commissioned Officer Academy.
