Biography
Heather Scott is a Republican representative serving Idaho House District 2A, covering parts of Bonner, Kootenai, Clearwater, Benewah, and Shoshone counties. Originally from Ohio and now residing in Blanchard, Idaho, she is married to Andrew and enjoys a rural lifestyle involving farming, hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities. Prior to politics, she owned Stonefly Services LLC and worked as a biologist for HDR . Notable positions include Vice Chair of the Judiciary, Rules and Administration Committee, and member of Environment, Energy and Technology and State Affairs committees. She is recognized for advocating government accountability, transparency, and Second Amendment rights, including support for permitless carry and special concealed-carry permits for retired law enforcement.
