Biography
Hans Christian Wilz is an American politician from Iowa born in 1965 in Ottumwa. He has been a lifelong resident of Ottumwa and maintains strong community ties through various civic activities and business ventures.
Education
Wilz received a bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Iowa, which provided the foundation for his entrepreneurial and professional career.
Political Experience
Wilz was elected to the Iowa House of Representatives in 2022, representing House District 25. He is serving his first term in the legislature. As a member of the Republican Party, he won his election with 63.08% of the vote, receiving 5,677 votes in his district.
