Biography
Paul Grey Mills Jr., known as Grey Mills, is a Republican politician from Mooresville, North Carolina, born in Iredell County. He previously represented North Carolina's 95th House District from 2009 to 2013 and 2021 to 2025. A Baptist with a wife and three children , Mills is an attorney admitted to the North Carolina State Bar. Notable achievements include chairing the Alcoholic Beverage Control Committee and Election Law and Campaign Finance Reform Committee , vice-chairing Judiciary I, and serving on Appropriations, Transportation, Energy and Public Utilities, and Redistricting committees. He supported conservative bills like prohibiting abortions based on race, sex, or disability and authorizing firearms on school grounds . In 2012, he ran for Lieutenant Governor ; in 2024, he narrowly lost the GOP primary for U.S. House NC-10 to Pat Harrigan.
