Greg Stemen is a Republican member of the North Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 27 since 2021. Originally from Dickey, ND, where he grew up on a farm and attended LaMoure High School, he has worked in banking as a Business Banking Officer and VP at Starion Bank, and previously at Sanford Health. He also provides broadcast analysis for college basketball games on WDAY and Midco Sports. Notable achievements include the Legislators Excellence Award from the Reason Foundation and Advocate of the Year from the ND Student Association. He served on the North Dakota State Board of Higher Education , North Dakota Veterans' Home Governing Board , and currently on the North Dakota Public Employees Retirement System Board.

• Education: BS in Mathematics Education from Valley City State University ; MS in Educational Leadership from Southwest Minnesota State University .
• Professional Experience: Taught at Wahpeton High School; assistant men's basketball coach at NDSCS and University of Nebraska Omaha; head coach at NDSCS and SMSU ; nearly a decade in banking and finance.
• Political Experience: Fort Ransom City Commission member; current committees include Government Finance , Judiciary , Human Services, Budget Section , Rural Health Transformation, and Government Finance - Regional Jail Study Subcommittee .
