Greg Lopez

Lopez served as Mayor of Parker, Colorado from 1992 to 1996, being elected to the position at age 27.
He held the position of Colorado Director of the U.S. Small Business Administration from 2009 to 2014 . During his tenure, he became known for issuing over $600 million in loans to Colorado small businesses in 2013 alone, setting an SBA record.
In 2024, Lopez was selected as the Republican nominee for a special election to fill the final six months of former congressman Ken Buck's term in Colorado's 4th Congressional District, serving as U.S. Representative from 2024 to 2025.
Prior to his congressional service, Lopez ran unsuccessfully for the U.S. Senate in 2016 and for Governor of Colorado in 2018 and 2022, losing the primary in all three races.
