Glenn W. Holmes is a Democrat who formerly represented Ohio's 63rd House District in the Ohio House of Representatives during the 132nd General Assembly . Born and raised in the Mahoning Valley, he is from McDonald, Ohio, in Trumbull County. He is a father of three and grandfather of four. Notable achievements include serving as mayor of McDonald , where he prioritized employee healthcare and responsible budgeting, leaving the town with a $2 million surplus; defeating Republican Devon A. Stanley by 60% to 40% in 2016 despite a Republican county win; and appointment to the Ohio Parole Board in May 2019. His career also includes roles at the FBI, Dowell Oil and Gas, First Energy as a substation inspector, and chairing numerous public, civic, and private boards.
