Gerald H. Allen is a Republican politician representing District 21 in the Alabama State Senate since 2010. Born February 8, 1950, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, he owns CASHCO Marketing and previously worked as a coach, athletic director, and educator. Married to Sheila with three children and six grandchildren, he is a Baptist and deacon at Gilgal Baptist Church. Notable achievements include chairing the Senate Transportation and Energy Committee, vice-chairing Finance and Taxation committees, sponsoring anti-Sharia law legislation , and defeating incumbent Democrat Phil Poole in 2010.
