Biography

George Margetas is a Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, where he serves the 196th District in York County. He is serving his first term after winning the special election for the seat previously held by Rep. Seth Grove.

Margetas is described as a lifelong resident of York County and the son of Greek immigrants. He grew up in the Dover/West York area and attended West York High School.
