George A. Brown Jr. is a Democratic member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 77 in Lexington, Kentucky. Born on November 14, 1948, in Lexington, he was elected in November 2014 and assumed office on January 1, 2015. Prior to this, he served six terms on the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Council , representing the 1st District, where he championed social empowerment and pro-business principles. Currently, he works as Supplier Diversity Business Enterprise Coordinator at the University of Kentucky Facilities Management Department.
