Biography
Gary Winfield is a Democratic State Senator representing District 10 in Connecticut, which includes parts of New Haven and West Haven. Born on March 11, 1974, in the Bronx, New York, he serves as Chief Deputy Majority Leader and holds key leadership roles, including Co-Chair of the Judiciary Committee and Vice Chair of the Education Committee. Notable achievements include his tenure since 2014 , founding QUEST Educational Initiatives in 2003, and prior service as an enlisted member in the United States Naval Nuclear Power Program.
