Biography
Gary Don Stubblefield was a Republican Arkansas State Senator representing Senate District 26, which includes parts of Franklin, Johnson, Logan, and Sebastian Counties. A dairy farmer from Branch, he was known for conservative positions on protecting the unborn and elderly, Second Amendment rights, farmers, lower taxes, and reducing government size. He served as Chair of the Senate City, County and Local Affairs Committee , and was involved in committees like Joint Budget, Legislative Council, and Joint Energy. Notable achievements include sponsoring legislation on municipal transparency, city jurisdiction limits, farm-to-school programs , abortion restrictions , sanctuary city bans , and agricultural education . He was a strong advocate for constituents, law enforcement protections, and property rights.
