Gary Brumfield is a Democratic State Senator representing District 38 in the Mississippi Senate, which includes Adams, Amite, Pike, Walthall, and Wilkinson counties. He has served as Senator since 2024 and is the Senior Pastor of Rose Hill MB Church in Pike County, known for its 66 ministries and feeding over 3,000 people hot meals monthly. Notable roles include President of the Southwest Mississippi Minister's Union, Moderator of the West Pearl River Baptist Association, Instructor at Harper Baptist Theological Seminary, and Member of the NAACP. He serves on committees such as Veterans and Military Affairs , Business and Financial Institutions, Corrections, Finance, Forestry, Highways and Transportation, Ports and Marine Resources, Technology, and Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.
