Michael Gabriel "Gabe" Firment is a Republican member of the Louisiana House of Representatives representing District 22, which includes Grant, La Salle, and Natchitoches parishes. He serves as Chair of the Insurance Committee and is a member of the Central Louisiana Delegation Caucus, Louisiana Republican Legislative Delegation, and Louisiana Rural Caucus. Elected in November 2019, he assumed office on January 13, 2020, and is eligible to serve through the 2028 term. Outside politics, he works as an insurance consultant with experience in the construction and insurance industries. He resides in Pollock, Louisiana.
