Biography
Gabe Evans is a Republican U.S. Representative for Colorado's 8th Congressional District, which includes parts of Adams, Weld, and Larimer counties, such as Brighton, Lochbuie, Fort Lupton, Greeley, and Berthoud. Born on July 28, 1986, in Colorado to the grandson of Mexican immigrants, he is a Christian, conservative leader, former U.S. Army and Colorado Army National Guard officer , and retired Arvada Police lieutenant. He lives on a family farm in southern Weld County with his wife and two homeschooled sons, Bruce and Sammy, and works as an NRA-certified firearms and concealed carry instructor. Notable achievements include a combat deployment in Operation Enduring Freedom, commanding aviation assets for Colorado wildfires and disasters, defeating Democratic incumbent Yadira Caraveo in the 2024 election , and prior service in the Colorado House District 48 focusing on criminal justice, public safety, lower taxes, and National Guard support. He prioritizes securing the border, strengthening public safety, and affordability.
Education and Political Experience
