Fred Girod - Oregon State Senator
Fred Frank Girod is a Republican politician and dentist from Oregon, born in 1951. He represents District 9 in the Oregon State Senate, which covers portions of Clackamas, Linn, and Marion Counties in the mid-Willamette Valley, including the city of Stayton.
Beyond his legislative work, Girod has maintained a career as a practicing dentist for over 30 years and has been involved in real estate development.
Education
Girod graduated from Stayton High School and went on to earn:
- B.S. from Oregon State University
- D.M.D. from Oregon Health Sciences University
- Masters of Public Administration from Harvard University
Political Experience
Girod has held several significant positions throughout his political career:
