Frank LaRose is the 51st Secretary of State of Ohio, serving since January 2019. Born April 18, 1979, in Akron, Ohio, he previously represented Ohio's 27th State Senate District from 2011 to 2019. A U.S. Army veteran, he served as a Green Beret in the Special Forces, earning the Bronze Star and other commendations. Notable achievements include making Ohio a leader in election integrity, facilitating record new business formations, and receiving endorsements from President Trump as the only incumbent Secretary of State. He ran for U.S. Senate in 2024 and won re-election in 2022 with 59% of the vote.
