Francis C. Thompson is a Republican member of the Louisiana House of Representatives representing District 19, which includes the parishes of East Carroll, Madison, Morehouse, Richland, and West Carroll. Elected in 2019 and re-elected in 2023 with 78% of the vote, he is eligible to serve through 2028 and resides in Delhi, Louisiana. A retired college professor, Thompson serves on key committees including Agriculture, Forestry, Aquaculture, and Rural Development; Appropriations; and the Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget.
