Biography
Representative Foy Gadberry
Foy Bryan Gadberry is a Republican member of the Louisiana House of Representatives representing District 15. His district encompasses Ouachita Parish, as well as portions of Calhoun and Claiborne parishes in northeastern Louisiana, including parts of West Monroe.
Gadberry was first elected to the Louisiana House in 2019, succeeding Republican Frank Hoffman, who was term-limited. In the 2019 election, Gadberry won with 8,092 votes , defeating fellow Republican Justin Tidwell. He was re-elected in October 2023, receiving 55% of the vote. He is eligible to serve through the 2028 term.
Education
Gadberry holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
Political Experience and Notable Positions
Profession: Gadberry works as a Civil Engineer and Land Surveyor.
Legislative Roles: He currently serves as Chair of the Municipal, Parochial and Cultural Affairs Committee and is a member of the House and Governmental Affairs Committee. He is also active in the Louisiana Republican Legislative Delegation and the Louisiana Rural Caucus.
