Biography
Senator Floyd Prozanski
Floyd Prozanski is a Democratic state senator representing District 4 in Oregon, which encompasses Springfield and Eugene. He resides in Eugene with his wife and is known for his avid interest in cycling and home-brewing.
Education
Prozanski earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and later obtained his law degree from the South Texas College of Law.
Political Experience
Prozanski was first elected to the Oregon Legislature in 1994. He served in the House of Representatives from 1995 to 2000 and again in 2003 before being appointed to represent Oregon Senate District 4 in 2003. He was elected in 2004 to complete the current term and has been continuously reelected since 2006.
As a municipal prosecutor by trade, Prozanski currently works as a municipal contractor with various cities. He brings extensive legal expertise to his legislative work.
