Biography
Faye Thompson is a Republican member of the Idaho House of Representatives, representing District 8B, which includes Valley, Boise, Custer, and Elmore Counties. A third-generation Idahoan raised in the state and resident of Valley County for over 50 years, she lives in McCall with her husband of 32 years, Neal Thompson; they have four adult children and 11 grandchildren. Elected in 2024 with 67.9% of the vote, she assumed office on December 1, 2024, for a term ending December 1, 2026. Thompson is a proud conservative advocate for pro-life and pro-family values, Second Amendment rights, border security, lower taxes , reduced spending, and repealing sales tax on groceries.
