Faith Winter was an American politician and a member of the Democratic Party. She represented District 25 in the Colorado State Senate, covering portions of Adams, Broomfield, and Weld Counties, including Westminster, Broomfield, Northglenn, and Shaw Heights. Previously, she represented District 24 from 2019 to 2023. A Westminster resident, she was married with two children. Winter died at age 45 in a multi-car accident on Interstate 25 in Centennial, Colorado. Notable achievements include election as assistant majority leader of the Colorado Senate in 2023, part of the "Fab Five" Democrats who helped secure Senate control in 2018, and re-election in 2022. She championed transportation, climate protections, working families, gender equity, and bipartisan bills on urban growth and sustainability.
